I’m looking forward to meeting the members of textile enthusiasts’ group ‘Liss in Stitches’ in Hampshire next Tuesday (21 May), to tell them about textiles of the Russian Arts & Crafts Movement – a favourite subject of mine.
Some of the Friends of Russian Arts are coming to my house on 26 June for an informal study day on that era of Russian art (late19th/early 20th century). There’ll be lots of lovely pictures and some textiles and other objects to handle. (For information about the Friends of Russian Arts, see our facebook page – or ask me via the ‘contact’ page on this site…)
